California Radon Regions
Radon is present in all areas at some volume, but certain areas generally have higher concentrations and a higher probability of testing levels above the 4 pCi/L level that the EPA recommends action for. The Indoor Radon Abetement Act of 1998 directed the US Environmental Protection Agency to identify areas that have the potential to produce higher levels of Radon.
